Helping out in Fiji

With the recent devastation in Fiji due to cyclone Winston, came a long period of worry and concern for several players who had not heard back from their families. When the news came in, it was an immediate relief to know that family members were alive, and had found a way to communicate. It also came with the realisation that family homes had been destroyed, and large parts of the villages around them.

The Fijian community, including some of our own, have been raising much needed funds to help their families with immediate resources and needs, before they can get on with the extensive rebuilding that needs to take place.

Sai ‘Ratu’ Nabogibogi, part of our 3rd Grade premiership team from 2015,  has been fundraising to assist in rebuilding Nayavutoka Village, and donations can be made here – https://www.mycause.com.au/page/119400/rebuild-nayavutoka-village-fiji

Waisea ‘Wise’ Koroi, with over 100 1st Grade caps and multiple premierships, has also been fundraising to assist in revuilding Nanukuloa Village, and donations can be made here – https://www.gofundme.com/65r5cx7w

We wish the people of Fiji all the best, and hope you are able to assist in any way you can.
