The 2023 Drummoyne Rugby Coaching team has been announced, and as part of this there are some changes to our coaching roster, including some farewells.
Sam Roach (Colts) has moved north to the Central Coast, and is stepping down from his coaching role. He had a big impact in the Colts and in the club, and his great company will be missed.
Craig Henderson (4th/5th Grade) is stepping down from his coaching role. A huge loss from the coaching ranks having carried 5s and 4s through many ups and downs over the last few years. He’s not leaving us though, and I’m please to announce he will be taking on the role of 1st Grade Manager. Congrats Hendo!
Phil Lawrence (3rd Grade) is stepping away from Drummoyne Rugby, and has been given the opportunity to join part of the 1st grade coaching team at Epping as they go up to Div3. Congrats on the new gig Phil!
Both Phil and Hendo put an enormous amount of energy to get numbers on the field every week, and we cannot thank them enough.
This means that new coaches are joining our team, and others are changing roles. We are delighted to welcome Luke Maybank to our Colts, Paul Heller and Luke Hayward to our 4s, and Shane Scully to our 3s.
