Notice is given that a Special General Meeting of Members of the Drummoyne District Rugby Football Club Inc. will be held at The Drummoyne Sailing Club on Wednesday, 29th March 2023, commencing at 6.30pm.
AGENDA
- Nominations have been received and seconded for the following persons to be inducted as life members as per the constitution section 4E below. Members to vote for nominations individually.

– David Newall
– Colin Flemming
– Peter McSullea
– Ken Stevenson
Voting rights:
1) Voting rights are limited to all financial members, vice presidents and life members
2) Voting by proxy or postal ballots unaccepted
3) All voting members must be financial at the time of meetingConstitution Section 4ELife Members who shall be elected upon a vote equal to a three-quarters majority of those members present and voting at the Annual General Meeting or a Special General Meeting called for that purpose, provided that:
i. They have been duly nominated and seconded by bona fide members of the club as defined here. Such nominations must be received by the Honorary Club Secretary at least 28 days in advance of the Annual General Meeting or Special General Meeting, should one be scheduled.
ii. The existing Life Members have been polled and support the nomination(s) by a three-quarters majority. (The polling process should be undertaken either by the Club Patron or Club President who shall only be required to report on the result of that poll)
iii. Fourteen (14) days’ written notice of the nomination(s) shall have been given to each member of the Club indicating that the Management of the club and the existing Life Members endorse the nomination(s).
iv. At no time should the number of Life Members exceed 30.
v. Honorary Life Members once elected shall be advised in writing and invited to accept the role and the associated responsibility defined in paragraph H) below.
